KOTOR factions?

We might get factions from that era, but not the characters, ships, and factions people are thinking. It will all be stuff from new canon, so none of the ships from the comics, KOTOR or SWTOR games would likely be included at all, let alone the characters. Hopefully the films will be good though and offer more stuff for the game and for people to enjoy.

Maybe, maybe not. It's likely that if Disney goes to that era, they'll bring over at least some of the Legends stuff into the new canon. I'm not saying they'll bring over everything, or that it'll all be in the form we're used to, but I find it rather unlikely that they'd include nothing .

Speaking of games, still waiting for them to announce the Rogue Shadow. (I think that was the name, the one from force unleashed.)

I'm still waiting for the YT-2000 so we can have the third protag of the X-Wing games the minis game.

Possibly, or like the post ROTJ content they throw it all away to do their own thing entirely. I'm fairly certain Tython won't be used at all, and apparently there are rumors of them using planning to use the Ach-to set/the island which means they might push to do a 'how the sith became a thing' for a film and then playing out the birth of that conflict there.

Thrawn was post-RotJ.

And now he is pre ANH and dies/gets spirited away by giant space whales. His whole Thrawn trilogy, and his efforts to get the Empire back on its feet are completely gone.

If we get anything from the KOTOR era it will likely be at most Revan, who will probably be made a woman since the game gave the option to players and would be an easy way for them to do something similar and give it the appearance of being fresh. And, that is even if they focus on that aspect and don't want to go full Je'daii on us and start with the very beginning of the Jedi order rather than focusing on the actual KOTOR story.

I dont know what you are talking about, Clearly Thrawn is post ROTJ. There is no other cannon story and if you think otherwise, you need to stop reading that **** fanfiction that people who work at disney makes.

So adapting the era of the Founding to the First Great Schism? It'll be interesting to see how they portray Arden Lyn and her fellows if that is the case.

Possibly, who knows they could go very different with there even being tons of force using sects with the Jedi and Sith only remaining as the only two, and set up the idea of another force using group that could be pulled upon later, likely if there is any truth to the rumors of Ryan Johnson still getting his trilogy and the two trilogies being connected.
