We've waited so long. It's the best battle in all of Star Wars from one of the top 3 films. No other mat theme probably has invited such beautiful customization as the examples below. You can do this for us. It's time. Please.

Amen, I've always wanted the first pictured Scarif mat. What's stopping me is I already have 2 XWing mats and a yoga mat cut in two to serve as non-slip mats. Plus, I the total cost stops me at the shopping cart.

A company did a special offer mat printing service in the UK about 18 months ago, so I got them to make me a Scarif mat using the top image. It was ok, but their backing material was slightly thicker so it doesn't roll up very well. And I hadn't noticed the red lettering in the bottom left corner, which looks odd on the finished mat.

I prefer the Hungarian nationals version.

While we're at it, could we get a half-dozen new mat designs please? Jedha, the Maw, Ach-to, Castilon, Naboo, Corellia, Concord Dawn, Florrum, Lothal, Batuu, Mimban, Takodana, etc., etc., etc.

I would definitely be in for a Scarif mat. Jedha and Corsucant would also be most welcome.

Random thought I just had because mats.

If they do a Star Wars: Resistance "race" scenario box or whatever using X-Wing stuff, they should release a 3x6 mat of the Colossus floating at the top of the water. That would be sweet. I don't know why I feel like racing would use the larger mat size but it's in my head.

With the help of accessing giant printers, I got to print out the Mario Kart maps on thick paper. They're hella fun. Our problem is it takes too long to do 1 lap. So we use a set of house rules.

Hopefully, FFG will release their own brand of Mario Kart racing for XWing. I can't see why not since the TV Show Star Wars Resistance is about racing.

I already own way too many mats but I'd own another just like that Hungarian national.

@CaptainJaguarShark A 3' x 6' mat is too, too big. If you've played "Mario Kart - X-wing" you'd understand! That's not to say a variation on the current rules would be out of the question, but if you can find a small group of like minded players for a Mario Kart game, I highly recommend it.

That's a good list. Hope FFG does expand their mat inventory.

Naboo and Lothal exist already. They were system open exclusives though. Coruscant was for the players who actually made it to Coruscant (and one who won it on social media).

Those probably shouldn't count since they weren't something you could purchase.

Besides, personally I like the mats where the planet or system dominates the play area vs having a dinner plate sized planet in one corner.

I wouldn't mind seeing an expansion to include 2-3 other new ones..

could make cheap paper mats for an FFG OP kit that has you jumping from mat to mat kind of like the old Star wars game where you controlled different planets.. would be cool for LGS play but require folks to play rebels or Imps...The team with the most worlds controlled at the end wins..

I haven't played it, so I didn't think that through enough. Maybe a 3x3 would be fine for the Colossus as well but I was thinking about it looking, well, colossal.

I agree wholeheartedly on a Crait mat. I'm all for efficiency and a mat that brings it's own salt will save players a lot of time.

Same reasoning why we have Heras Ghost and Phantoms. And why eventually will have the so ugly is beautiful Twilight that Anakin got a hold of on Clone Wars.
