Question on Lead by Example surveyor-class.

By Nolanstar, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

So, wasn't really sure where to post this or how to phrase this.

The ship that LbE adds as the Surveyor-class has no commissioned art and no other image, but it does have a description.

There's and old imperial frigate design from WEG's Flashpoint! Brak Sector that is in the same size range and is within art style very close to the description given.

Question is, was the design similarity intentional? I know some FFG stuff has been based on prior random ships before, and was wondering if in this case it can be said the Surveyor is or was intended to be the same as the unnamed vessel in the older material.

For reference, the description apparently gives three points:
Similar to a Vindicator/Immobilizer in general shape. - Image fits (granted, it is a triangle like lots of imperial ships, but it's also a thin triangle and with an appropriate general hull shape).
Center-line hump with sensors and bridge - Image fits with a dome, bridge and antenna
General size is in the frigate range, and a comparison to the station the ship is docked at reveals an approximate 200-350 meter size (perspective sucks), which places it in the same range.
Overall the ship matches quite well, and a few of us were wondering if it was the design (or if you could say it is so we have a depiction).

I've attached the image below for comparison.

Ditto

I'm hoping they stat the Active-class soon. (The Surveyor class is an active hull with a different loadout according to the Surveyor description) I'm curious if they are the three fighter squadron frigates I could wear I recall being mentioned in the WEG Imoerial sourcebook.
