Using TF haarlock demon face in DC

By Tkkultist, in Dark Heresy Gamemasters

So at the end of tattered fates the acolytes can end up with a talking daemon face/head whatever. This itme is described as being of use/help to them for the future haarlock adventures.

I was genuinely surprised that there is no mention of it in Damned Cities (Unless I have missed something?)

Does anyone have advice/notes/useful information regarding how to incorporate this? My crew are likely to finish tattered fates in the next couple sessions so It will become a pressing issue if they survive to retrieve this.

I wonder about this as well. My party simply handed over the face to their new Inquisitor anyway, but I could always make up a reason for them to retrieve it if necessary.

It seems to be this is going to be an optional thing that might matter in the last adventure, or to be used by some GM continuatin scheme...

I used it as a thing that could be asked some questions about Haarlock and the area the PCs where in.......so it would just help to give background that you learn from the opening info and what not....of course being a demon and all....either not all of the information would be given or a flat out lie would be told demonio.gif

Could be used to help keep your team on track..or put them on a wild chase

Should return in the Dead Stars trilogy finale or there'll be some serious contingency problems in this series.

If you want to use it, the "clue-giver" is a fine solution.

...but to keep pc from overusing it, explain to them that while it talks to them, they feel an evil creeping inside their minds (1d5 corruption +1d5 insanity for every vital clue got the easy way)

with the new announcement of the latest haarlock book on the immediate horizon hopefully someone will be able to let us know if that item is in there before I do something stupid with it lol!

I am really curious too.

I know the answer now. The daemon face can be used as a Guide to navigate the Tesseract. It says so in Dead Stars on p27.
