They don't. Somewhere around current rebel a wing prices is about right.
How to fix the V19-torrent

Esp with the i5 getting extra dice if he moves faster than his attacker/defenders + juke...+r4
Better at least be arc prices
right, just more ship options for the faction was why i said that.
Arc prices is just hilarious. 42 points for 2/2/3/2 is bananas. Free evade or not.

I cannot believe that the N1 will be anywhere near the Xwing in terms of price. The xwing has the same agility, much more overall health and 3 firepower no matter what. That and the flexibility of the S-foils make it a vastly superior ship.... imo ![]()
My fears are founded upon the streamed preview game, wherein Anakin + plasmas and Padme + astro clocked in at 108 points.
[WARNING: GUESSWORK AHEAD] With plasmas being categorically inferior to protons, I don't see plasmas + astro being more than 12-13 points, which puts Padme somewhere around 45-47 and Anakin somewhere around 49-51 with his Force tax. By comparison, X-wing init 4s are 46-48, right around where I'm guessing Padme will fall; but then again, both Padme and Anakin have strong pilot abilities, so maybe they'll be particularly pricey compared to the generics. Or maybe Anakin's Force tax will be more significant than I'm guessing.
sry, I meant the I 5 guy had to be around arc prices because dude is nutty
otherwise, I'm imagining slightly higher than A-wings

I think they probably should be a bit more like Resistance RZ-2 A-Wings... While the statline is close to an A-Wing (a little bit tougher, probably) and the effective moves available to them are pretty similar (3 hard/bank plus fast straights vs 2 hard/bank plus fast straights), the fact that the N-1 doesn't take stress makes it a good deal more flexible, and should probably be priced like 2-3 points more than an RZ-1 A-Wing.

One overall good thing about the N-1: it almost surely won't have a non-limited Talent ship, so Juke Spam almost surely won't be possible. Generics can be priced fairly, rather than with an inflated cost because of Juke.

Also means it can't take Dedicated.

If there's any justice he'll be priced what Lulo Lampar is. Being as he's, you know, worse. But then, Lulo should be at least two points more, so...

he's FAR stronger than Lulo because he gets juke and a free evade (and 3 agi via ability) and r2
but yeah, Lulo be cheap
He's also a lot weaker, because his ability is out of your control, and those extra bits all cost points of their own. The ONLY thing he gains over Lulo is that his extra action is stress free. Juke costs 5 points and is mediocre at best with only a single copy. R2 costs 4 points, and requires you to take its penalties. He also gets the Sensor slot too, should he pay points for that? I mean, he undoubtedly will, but he shouldn't.
I hope you guys are right! It would be super nice to field a trio of these with modest upgrades and have enough room for a fourth ship that is better than a GSP.
Take this with a pinch of salt because my experience to date literally consists of about 5 games on fly casual, but the N1 is a very odd ship to fly. You don't feel like you are getting value unless you are triggering full throttle but it's very hard to keep in the fight if you are trying to pull 3+ speed moves all the time and without the white K-turn.
The pricing is going to be very interesting. Somewhere in the a-wing region probably about right for me.
I honestly mostly don't care as long as I can run Obi Anakin and Ric with a decent amount of upgrades. ZOOOOOOM.
should be fair if the n1 is 32 base and Oddball is put at that price to fairly reflect his capabilities
