Does the second attack target still need to be within range 2? I am in a game with my friend and one of my A-Wings is in range 2 of a tie it has locked and in range 3 of a tie that is at range 1 of the original target. Can I shoot the second tie? Or do I need to meet both the requirements to fire AND the requirement of the second target being within 1 of the first?

Cluster Missile's bonus attack only ignores the lock requirement. The rest still apply with the addition of the range from first target limitation.
