So i finally found some time to start painting miniatures again. I really enjoy Lord of the Rings and I think the game is amazing. The miniatures are way better than I anticipated. So following are just my 2 brushstrokes.

The Wargs:

Right now only two of the Bilwis are finished

These are great! Love the grimmy look of the Goblins!

And another two Goblins are done. This time more of a sickly yellowish skin

Sorry for the bad Quality of the last photos. I'm under the impression the minis are hard to photograph while standing on the table.

I know they don't look classic Lord of the Rings but I like to give my miniatures some color so that they can stand out on the board a bit better.

I was going to ask. I think it's a fine choice; it's your game to paint after all! Though I will probably do mine in mostly earth tones, because I like those colors and think they fit the theme, they certainly won't pop the way yours do.

Beautiful work! I especially love the highlights and shading of Beravors cloak, the non-metallic gold metal effects on Gimlis axe, and the frog on Aragorns base 😂

Finished Elena. Not really happy with the face unfortunately but sometimes it just doesn’t work out

The sculpt on Elena's face is pretty bad. Given that, I think you did an excellent job. My Elena looks ok too except for the face. Plus I forgot to paint the eyebrows so it looks more like a swamp monster than an elf.

Awesome work with the terrain. I bought a plastic bag full of scenic bases but I've been too lazy to rebase anything.

Oh and good work with Legolas's boots and bracers. I really like those. The "straps" (or seams or decorations) being different color makes the figure stand out more.

Yeah Elenas face is really small and not very contoured (since shes female i guess) compared to the others
