I was thinking the same thing.

Things in the Ground bring from your deck into play insane even a card with willpower or terror, correct?

Yes. I've shortly mentioned in the article why. The characters enter play insane, and thus come into play with an empty text box and zero icons.

I think that card will help a lot of character heavy decks. Your basically getting characters for zero cost. You normally would have to wait 2 turns to use them but theres a few cards you can play that can speed that process up.

Also, as the article mentions, "Twila Katherine Price - Lost in a Dream" is gonna be a new crowd pleaser when combined with "They Come at Night"

I need to put together some kind of Yog/miskatonic deck... cool.gif

It may be slightly off-topic, but does that mean that Hastur can be brought back insane from the discard pile by Opening Night as well? We had an argument about that last weekend because my opponent stated that he couldn't be brought back since he got terror icons in the first place. Treating his textbox as being blanked would change a lot...

Opening Night
[story] Core Set F158 / Illustrator: Federico Piatti
Game Text: All discarded characters are put into play, insane.

Oh, yes. Hastur loves opening night. It's when his best play "The King in Yellow" hits the theaters!

So, that totally works. Note that neither Opening Night nor Things in the Ground can't return unique characters with a copy already in play. In both cases they end up in the discard pile. In the case of Opening Night, it wouldn't even leave!

Thank you, that's very interesting... and definitely adds weight to the story!
