Hey, I just picked up Descent, and I was thinking of getting RTL due to the random dungeons in it. Can I use the random dungeons for stand-alone games?
Can random dungeons from RTL be stand-alone quests?
KWilson was working on a "Delve" variant doing exactly this. He brought it up on the old forums. The problem with doing this right is pacing the advancement of the monsters with the heroes. Pre-made quests have this built in.
