Sounds like a fairly different feel to this one, very "boss fight". Curious how they're going to keep non-Guardians relevant (I'm sure they will, just curious how
)

I was wondering the same thing.
I'm going to have to watch my team covenant subscription because I don't think I'm going to want this supplementary pack when they sell it.
Interesting. Sounds akin to the Labyrinths of Lunacy. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out. I wonder if they'll re-share it at Arkham Nights '19.
Time for some answers!

None of this "only 12 players to a game" business! This looks fantastically fun!
Edited by DucirisThis is going to be insane, and the 96-player one just became a lot more of a priority!
I want a 20 1300-pages long novels long epic made entirely by a list of everything the blob can eat.

Do we get any XP to use when creating our decks for the Gen Con event?
Peter and I have been talking a lot about 'what does social Arkham look like?' after Arkham in Flames in the UK in March... and Matt's been listening, clearly! Holy ****, looks fascinating and so much fun! Arkham in Flames 2020 here we come!!

The town of Blackwater has been devastated after a mysterious meteorite impact, and you and your companions are trapped inside the quarantine zone.Long Description:Played in Epic Multiplayer Mode, the participants are split into groups of up to four investigators, who must work together with all of the other investigators in the event in order to analyze and defeat an entity unlike any they have ever faced - one whose health pool is shared across all groups. Participants must bring their own investigator deck and tokens. Investigator decks and tokens will not be provided. Each participant will receive a copy of The Blob That Ate Everything scenario.
From the sound of it the scenario won't be a straight up fight. The blob is described as eating bullets. So maybe fighting will delay the blob, but it sounds like you'll need to investigate to figure out how to avert or contain the threat. I suspect there will be a ton of location actions to test against similar to how Undimensioned and Unseen was a big monster battle but tons of actions appeared on locations.
I enjoy that this is a scenario specifically designed to support large social events. It does feel like this game could use more of those to encourage more organized play events.
