The Core Set Repring, any changes or things fixed?

By Max Wax, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

I was wondering if anything have changed in the AGOT CS reprint? for instance, if cards are reprinted with errata etc? Does any of you know? Thank you!

I'm a brand new player with the new, reprinted core set. If you tell me what cards to look at, I'll be happy to tell you what they say now.

Check "Lannisport Brothel" - if it is not unique, then there is no change.

Having looked at the errata (1-5), I can tell you that Lannisport Brothel (L56) is now marked as unique, Robert Baratheon (B71 and B90) has two separate id numbers on the two cards, and Magister Illyrio (T152) does incorporate his errata as well:

"Challenges: Kneel Magister Illyrio to choose an opponent and name a challenge type. Until the end of the phase, that opponent must pay you 1 gold from his or her gold pool each time he or she initiates a challenge of this type."

impressive!

does this really mess with the modified reprint rule?

Thank you Enforcer5981!

Now I can pick up an extra with confidence!
(I wonder if there is any markings that differentiate the first print from the second one...date perhaps?)

The errata effectively makes the first printing cards read like the second printing cards, so they, are for game play purposes, identical. Or are you getting at something different?

i figured as much, just wanted it out in the open.

Anyway, the reprint rule says:

"CCG cards that have identicals stats, icons,
and game text as the LCG version can be used
at an LCG event. If the stats, icons, or game
text have been updated for the LCG, the original
CCG card cannot be used."

It does specify that CCG cards with changes cannot be used. The first printing cards are still LCG cards, so I'm not sure it applies.

Good thing I still need another Core Set, because now I am going to buy one just for the fixes!
