Tallie has a regenerating charge. She can spend that to use ordinance, right? Does that mean she effectively never runs out of ordinance?

charges on cards can only be used for abilities from that card, unless otherwise clearly stated.

I want to clarify that Standard charges (the gold ones) are confined to the card they are on and do not connect to each other (normally) Force charges, are all in a central pool on the ship and any ability that uses force charges pulls from the ships pool.

Helpfully, these two things are actually noted differently: if you look at a Force charge on an upgrade, you'll see that it's marked as +1[Force]^. The plus symbol indicates the charges are lumped together with any other Force charges on the ship. Regular charges do not have that plus symbol, indicating they are self-contained.

Well, more specifically.. The number for the Force (purple number) indicates the Force Capacity of the ship. The +1 indicates its giving the ship +1 Force Capacity (every ship has a force capacity, even if its Zero).
The Standard charge number is the Charge Limit of that card.

I dont want to make such a broad statement saying 'if it has a +, then its a force charge'. Because its possible (though unlikely) that they could make a +1 Charge Limit upgrade. Its better to just recognize the charges by their symbol and color and know that, unless otherwise stated.... Force charges are in a pool on the ship, Standard charges are a pool on their respective cards.
