Rest In Peace to the legendary Peter Mayhew (May 19th, 1944 to April 30th 2019).
His performance as Chewbacca is one of the most iconic characters in all storytelling.

For Episode IV, star wars was the first sci-fi movie that had non-telepath characters that did not speak English, or anything near it (Greedo/Chewbacca/that bar bully)

I was referring to being surrounded by family, at home.
Sad news, another iconic character and actor leaves us, # r i p # may the force be with you
A great actor and great man has left us, but he will live forever with his movies and his Mayhew foundation.
He was super fantastic to meet a few years back at a convention, and was super nice.
It's a real loss, but thankfully we'll have his great performances to remember him by.
