Error found in Printed Core Rule-book; some pages are in German

By Shinyavarice, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, nor do I know where I should put this, my physical copy of the Core Rule-book has a printing error. Several of the pages at the start of Chapter II Character creation are printed in German. I have not seen this anywhere else in the book and believe it is of concern. I do not seek an explanation or replacement I just wish to get word out, hopefully to someone important at FFG, that this is a thing.

Specifically pages 33, 36 & 37, 40 & 41, 44 & 45, and 48.

Book ISBN: 978-1-61661-657-1 (I don't know if that helps, I honestly have no idea what the Print Number is so I can't ell you what it is.)

The book was purchased from a game store, Games World, in Adelaide Australia. I will also be informing them of this find so they can check their stock.

Does the book have Bothans in it or did the Germans eliminate them in your book?

Bothans are also Ar’krai deniers, because when they commit genocides , they erase all mentions of their enemies from history.

Nope.

Nope.

It was actually.

As Rogue One changed the background of the Deathstar Lore it was an official order (FFG/Disney) to remove Bothans from the books with the hint that they eventually want to change aspects of Bothans if they even ever ship them again. So for the German line Bothans are no longer Canon and were therefore removed completely.

At least that was roughly what I got out of what "our" officials communicated to us.

So they removed Bothans but left in Starkiller (Vader's secret apprentice) in the Rebellion's background text? Weird way to enforce canon.

Many Bothans is Deathstar ii not i. So no Rogue one changed nothing about Bothans.

Wow, maybe I should start some "brain-training" never questioned what in hindsight seems to be a theory based on the actual reason (checked the old sources once more) that Disney decided to call them back as they wanted to keep all options open for introducing Bothans in one of the future movies and didn't settle on one particular design by that time.

My fault surely was to fall for some statement that was more of a theory about the possibility to include them in Rogue One. Although it still stands that it was officially ordered from Lucasfilm/Disney to remove them from the AoR CRB.

As I came late to the SW-RPG party I definitely need to be more careful when reading stuff older than one year... My apologies for that!
