We didn't know his exact date of birth, but he was clearly super-young at this time point in the OG story - if he was even born yet. Yet, it seems we're skipping over Moto Gaheris entirely to get Chagatai out even faster.

Well, if it's the only difference you've spotted between the two timeline, you're in for a wild ride...

The Unicorn Clan in general is significantly different than it was in the old game- Shono and Haruko are about 15 years older than they were in the TCG. Presumably it's because Unicorn pretty much had Utaku Komoko as their only interesting character until after the Scorpion returned from the Burning Sands.
