Magnetizing the Occupier?

By VisionVoid, in Star Wars: Legion

I gave it a try and put magnets for the boxes, figures, driver hatch, and somewhat the weapon options. Post is here:

Awesome. I’m too lazy and impatient for that, hats off!

Considering that a lot of the toys in this game have "random scifi element" mixed here and there, it wouldn't be hard to drill and place a magnet and just paint over it like it belonged there, or even leave it silver in the paint job. If you keep some distance between the magnet and its point of contact, you wont need to worry about the paint being scratched off later.

Little magnest for the men and the containers (1mm/4mm) I used 8 3mm/10mm magnets for the tank. 4 underneath the base, and 4 glued to the tank tread.

@flightmaster101 I did not drill through the posts on the tank. Instead I secured the magnets around them and aligned them sideways. Tiny cylinder magnets from K&J Magnetics, one on each outside edge of the tank posts and another on the hatch ends themselves. I shaved the hatch attachment points down to make space for the cylinders. It won't stand a vigorous shake but is plenty strong enough to hold in place during the game. Hope this helps.
