Gah, I hate the counters supplied in the blisters....

By Budsky, in Anima: Tactics

They're just too darn small! I'm going to scan them in and do a bit of PS touch ups. Would you guys care to have text on them (ie, "Poisoned", "Doom") or just leave the art as is? I will try to adapt them to print on an Avery label format, if not, they'll be good old DIY counters.

try this one:

Tokens with texts

or the following.

Statecards for characters

Print them out, put them into sleeves and then you can mark them with a foil-pen

for the second one... the downloadlink is the one with the disk thumbnail ;)

The links does not work for me, what page are you linking to? I would really appreciate better tokens...

Thanks!

If you're rolling in money, you could always go to Litko Aerosystems. Just Google them ant they'll com right up. I have a set of their custom tokens for Song of Drums and Shakos, and I can say from first-hand experience that their stuff is top-notch. The only problem is that if you want to get enough tokens for a complete game, you're looking at dropping about $80 U.S.

Now, as I said, the quality is amazing, and they're all custom etched, but that's a fair bit of money...

The way I'm planning on doing it, when I get time to scan in and enlarge the pics, is to scan in and print out copies of the state condition markers that are bigger than the tiny ones that come with the starter. Then I'll glue them onto the wooden Litko markers and get something big enough to see easily as well as something with a bit of thickness to them so they can be grabbed easily.

I improved my counters by buying a set of 9mm wooden cubes, and gluing one counter to each face of the cube. The 'negative' cubes have Paralyze, Poison, Doom, Slow, Seal and Blind, the 'positive' cubes have Shield, Haste, Protection, Healing, Beserk (ok, so its not quite positive, but it was the best fit) and a blank face.

Makes it much easier to sort through since there aren't a stack of different counters, and gives them some nice solidity.

For the health counters, I glued them onto thin pieces of plastic cut into squares slightly larger than the counters. Again, makes them more solid, a bit larger, and easier to manage.

Yeah, the hardest part about the counters is that they are so hard to grab, being so thin.
