Have a question about holdings. When one is turned up during dynasty phase, I understand it gives a bonus to the province and whatever effect on the card.

My question is, on the next dynasty phase, would I put another card on top of the holding? Or would the holding need to be discarded off the province at the end/clean up phase before another card goes on the province? Thanks for help

Holdings occupy the province they show up in and would prevent it refilling while there. During clean up of the end phase you can choose to discard them if you want to cycle the province.

Thank you. Knew you you could discard cards didn’t want during end/clean up phase. Holdings confused me a little since you couldn’t play from province, so wasn’t sure about them
