Ok Troll was last, its the only figure im not happy with, I think I messed his chest area up and I may re do him at the weekend. Heres everything-

Paints are mostly GW, with a few Vellejo.

No highlights added, just some thinned washes. No glosses added. I will be doing matt varnish once they are all finished(the Wargs for example in the pic look a bit shiny...more so than in reality but a matt spray will sort them)

Search for Sorastro middle earth guide on youtube for what I based a lot of it on (I love his colour choices)

Anyone have any reference pics of the Wraiths? They are next for me but cant see any pics in the books.

Thanks (although I must add, most of my colour inspiration also comes from Sorastros guides too ;]) I think im a decent painter....but I always struggle for a vision of what colours I want to use unless I see some examples first.

Im thinking ill do the Troll in a reasonably dark green, with much lighter green/grey on the chest area.

Was tempted to do Darker grey, then a lighter on chest areas but I think ive read Hill Trolls are green. Hoping to start him this week but been busy.

I was doing some reading this morning as I was wanting to do my troll tonight and it wasn't overall clear on Hill-Troll (stone troll's) colour. Cave trolls it seemed they had dark skin, but the Hill Troll's in the hobbit are almost white/flesh with brown on the darker areas.

I think I might go with the darker grey and lighter chest and get close to the movies. Some green to maybe simulate some fungus or something would be neat though.

Yeah I think I prefer the grey look better too tbh.

Will have a look when I get started maybe thurs. shouldnt take long.

I would go with a subdued grey. Maybe some patches of tan or blue-ish

My only thought is that the blue-Ish seems more cave troll then hill troll, which I think will come out when we get Moria!

But honestly any way will work and am excited to see what people do.

Ok, I dont know if this is against the rules(never done anything like this before) so if it is...apologies (I have posted on many FFG game forums and never done it before).....but realising that I will never have time to play (with IA, Legion, Decent and all the other FFG games I play) I have decided to stick this box and the figures on EBAY.

If anyone is interested, take a look on there.
