When I declare that I'd like to use Dooku crew, do I spend the Force first and then I measure range? And, if the object that I measure range to is outside range 2, I lose the Force?

Secondly- there is no limit on using Dooku and he could be use multiple times per round? E.g.,when on a Hate-Maul Scimitar, if I regain the Force during the round thx to hate, I may use him again, is that correct?

Before a ship at range 0-2 rolls attack or defense dice, if all of your F are active, you may spend 1 T and name a result. If the roll does not contain the named result, the ship must change 1 die to that result.

You have to know if the ship is at r0-2 before you get the option to spend the force.

And you can use his effect as many times as you get opportunities, it's not once per round, but it is restricted in its use so you'd only get it multiple times using Hate as described, currently.

you have to measure to be able to spend the force. you cannot spend the force if the ship is beyond range 2. there is no limit to how many times you can use it per round.
