Wanting to fly soontir and have never flown imperial bombers so not sure if this is any good so looking for help.

So soontir goes and does his thing and the bombers fly in formation with double rerolls on the barrages thanks to jonus???

You can fit more ships in by losing the bombs, bombardiers, and Ruthless from the bombers. Slim it enough, and more than an Academy can be added. 2.0 Fel works best as a flanker when there is a lot of danger poised by focusing on him and ignoring the rest of the list. I flew him with 4 barrage Scimitar recently, and am currently 5-1 with that list.

To support what Eruletho is saying, you're better off flying 4 bombers for two reasons. The first is that it gives you 6 extra HP to play with, which is always nice. Secondly it works out to get more hits on average compared to 3 bombers with Capt Jonus (9 vs 8.4) . Those hits will also go further since you're more likely to have stripped away their tokens.

The only problem with 4 Scimitars is that you have to run Soontir very naked and without a bid, which means he isn't as threatening as when he has Predator and that he will struggle against other aces.

Also, a somewhat popular build is soontir, vader, and two ps2 barrage bombers as well (basically take out scourge and a bomber from list above and replace with afterburner Vader)
