A year ago I lodged two complaints about how both the Storm-Troopers and Rebellion miniatures (the latter was deleted by a mod, which is disappointing.. if you don't want to hear criticism perhaps make better toys?) had a very poor choice in poses etc. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the Battle Droids box, each Droid is performing a practical/functional purpose, and those with weapons are actually aiming them! No more hands pointing around or awkward looking over the shoulder or other overused stuff.

Straight up Droids at work, to those responsible for designing these, well done.

And the amazing thing is that you still think that this is the FFG complaint form! I can see the confusion. Community Forum... Complaint Form... Sounds similar. Also, your last post got deleted because it devolved into a misogynistic rant.

Those were fun times. It’s times like that where I’m kinda glad for FFG’s hands off forum policy cause it let us keep saying things when any other forum would’ve locked the thread.

As for the droid sculpts, I found them just ok, but I haven’t been really excited about them, as much as I am for clones/Jedi.

The droid poses seem stiff to me, but that’s perfect cause these droid are dumb as dirt.😁 If they made one of them standing there scratching its head, I would think that would be spot on. 😂😜

You could say that. Let’s just say that his thread was the only thread I’ve seen closed by the moderators in all the years I’ve been here. The moderators almost never get involved in the forums, FFG is really hands-off. For them to get involved is something rare

To be fair, it was not closed because of his original post. It was closed because of some ugly misogynistic things being said (mainly by other people). That said, he still seems to think that he is sending messages directly to Joe Fantazi-Flyte the CEO of FFG through his forum posts... or something...

You should see how ugly the Armada threads can get. Mods are a little more active about locking threads there.

Well, that was an interesting ride down the rabbit hole, full of idiotic comments and annoying characters. And to think I missed all the initial pre-order canceling because I was off playing X-Wing.

Anywho, couldn't care less about the Droid's poses, and I don't really get the complaint about the Stormtroopers poses at all. Some are shooting, some are moving, and the Squad leader is commanding. Seems OK to me.

Oh I’ve seen the armada forum. I used to be in that one quite a bit before legion came out. And the x-wing forum, I try to avoid. You’ll never see such a wretched hive of scum and villainy as the x-wing forum especially when discussing star wars movies

Wow, I thought it was just me. I used to be really active on the X-wing forums until around Wave 12 of first edition. Now I pretty much only frequent the Legion section

Even the legion one is a bit slow. Kinda glad the discord is always moving.
