what is the number of ships you can field in a squad and where can i find it. right now all i see is by points. all help is welcomed and i thank you ahead of time. was wondering if i can field 10 drone fighters

In standard tournament situations, a squad must be comprised of 2-8 ships , equalling no more than 200 points . For unofficial, casual play, of course, you and your opponent can increase those numbers however you see fit.

Tournament rules are not *strictly* followed in casual play, but some of the more general rules are or at least some of them that are generally accepted as general rules. Its possible some casual players wont mind you playing more than 8 ships, but most would probably maintain the 2 ship minimum given the "Eggs in a Basket" lists from 1E (players using a single ship, and upgrading the snot out of it for a massive bid, which is why 2 ships are the minimum in 2E).
