The V-wing, ARC, Eta-2, etc. have no business being in the Imperial faction for standard play. As @Captain Lackwit pointed out, the Tarkin doctrine represent a shift in thinking of Imperial starfighters.

TIE's and Clone Wars fighters didn't serve together, their presence in the Empire would dilute the faction identity of both the Empire and the Republic, and the balance issues would not be worth it.

Plus, if you really want to fly "Imperial" versions of those ships, just restrict yourself to Anakin as your only force user and fill the rest of the list with clone pilots.

But there are _definitely_ different ways to say it. For instance: you can acknowledge that it's easy to miss, but if I look off to the side in the hanger, it's there.
