Keeping Score in Matches

By smauel, in X-Wing

There may be an obvious place for this, but I am not sure how to keep score when playing X-Wing. Looking at games on YouTube, say Gold Squadron, for example, they will overlay points during matches so when time runs out they can say who was ahead and declare a winner. I can see on the Squad Builder PDFs that it lists a half-life and point value, but I wasn't sure how to keep score based on that data if you were wanting keep matches to 75 minutes to allow for more games in an evening.

Are there official rules, I am assuming there are and if so can anyone point me in the right direction? Appreciate the help!

The tournament rules lay it out pretty straightforward.

While you're playing don't worry about keeping score in-match, especially if you're new to the game! It can be useful to know what is at half health and/or destroyed and use that to get some rough idea of how the game is going, but save the hard numbers for after the match.
