Maybe it is 3 different huge ship bases. No doubt most of the huge ships have a similar profile in terms of plainer area as other ships. The CR-90 and the Raider close to each other in length. The C-roc and Gozanti are almost the same ship with different configurations. The GR-75 is somewhere stuck in the middle, so that might be the 3rd base size.
Only 3 Epic ships??

The conversion kit is going to come with two newly designed plastic huge ship bases and cardboard for all 5 ships, so there can't be 3 base sizes. Possibly 2, though I'd hope not.
Unless the new bases telescope or extend in some way to set different sizes.
My personal Hope's for the break down would be this:
CR-90: Republic and Rebels with a generic and multiple titles. Resistance gets it with the use of a mandatory title.
Raider: Imperial and First Order with a generic and multiple titles with a special Resistance "Corvis" title specific to them.
C-Roc - Scum & Villainy and CIS
Gozanti - Republic, Imperials (imps are the only ones able to use the docking ability)
GR-75: Rebels and CIS.
Now, before you start complaining about the Resistance having two corvettes, they would be watered down. The Corvis was pushing 30 years and the CR-90 would be even older. Neither would be in top form. The Gozanti and C-Roc could technically be passed around a lot more, but this break down just makes sense to me. Sure, Scum only has the C-roc for now, but between titles and configurations, the ship could be set up for various roles... until they get a Corvette of their own!
excited for the Charger C70 /consular class. lots of ships can fit in this category now

That makes since since the 1st edition only had two different sizes, one for transports and one the corvette gunships.

Could well go the way the Armada Super Star Destroyer base is set... Carboard just floating over two bases, one fore one aft - that way, Length can be adjusted simply by how much "floating" space you have, locked in place by the risers.

Nope:
There are 2 base sizes, and that's all. Until they make a Nebulon, that is.

That's the 1.0 way, so there would be no need for new bases in 2.0.
Odds are, they had to change the bases for whatever new movement system they have devised.

Those are still 1st edition, we were talking about the conversion to second edition. Yes I know there are only 2 different huge ship base sizes. Small ones for transports and large ones are for the gunships. OP said he saw only 3 ships for second edition, I thought that might meant they changed the base size (like how a fire-spray is now medium instead of large). Another poster has told me that was not the case.
