just block han, and bring a lot of arcs, and/or split your arcs at all times to cover all the possible places he could go.

Edit:

OH! or just always have seismic charges! We all know every list can bring those! Just do that.

I mean... it is the best way to deal with it? That's still horrible and won't work in any reliable way, but it's still the best of many bad ideas?

I mean, technically yes; but as you said, that's not a "real" solution, nor particularly descriptive.

None of us would tell someone to spam bring seismics and just hope it works out during swiss.

It's taken me a while to get there, but I'm finding that's the correct response to the overwhelming majority of X-Wing community feedback.

Right now, I doubt people would try and cut the han list to deepen thebid, so probably good enough?

IMO Han can go down to 138 (cut the title), and Jake can also drop some points.

Because a 20pt bid means your Han actually increased to 158, and nobody will ever move after you. So...

Toss Greedo on Han? He's I6 so Greedo's charge will most likely be spent before Han gets shot at.

I found Triple Upsilon threads infinitely more useful when people talked less about "NERF!" and more about how to counter them. A couple people have done that in this thread, for which I'm grateful.

And then they got nerfed (correctly) so what was ultimately more useful?

Seyn- Apply damage card.

Rex- Flip, flippety flip from R3, ad nauseam.

I have only one bad idea and this is it.

****... There goes adding Greedo to try and ensure crits when damage does get through.

Is luke gunner even necessary?

I don’t know if general community outcry has any influence on nerfs.

The counterplay is the same it was against Nymranda, Ghost Fenn, et al.

Play it yourself, hope your opponent is bad, or dodge the matchup.

No seriously, that was a serious question.

No but the force is nice to have. Which together with the action is much better than the title, I'd say.

Who will underbid 20pts and can still compete with the rest?

No, but it's better than not being there or being something else. Han is a points fortress so the points are safe on him, and the ability to swizz your arc around fits nicely with the inertial dampeners as it helps you track your target even if you have to spontaneously change your expected position relative to the opponent.

At this point I think it's clear it does.

I'm not sure it's the outcry-part. But highlighting problems, bringing them to FFGs attention and - calmly - explaining why it's a problem might (or should, one can dream...)

Maybe, but lying down on the floor and throwing a tantrum has a better proven record of success.

Vs 43 phantoms in the top cut (this time)? And that's after they were nerfed!

FAt Han might need looking at; Juke Phantoms definitely need looking at again! My personal fix for Juke drops it to 1pt but spends the evade to use it, but that would mean changing the words so it won't happen.

I'd also change the Kanan/ID interaction so the stress is applied after Kanan's window.

The problem is more the R2/ID interaction. ID doesn't have charges, likely because it's assumed your shields will act as the charges. When you get them back for free, ID becomes very problematic. Like, even if you"fix" the Kanan/ID interaction, he can still stop as much as he wants and gets passive actions from pilot ability, Luke and force. "Oh no, I'm triple stressed! All I can do is rotate my arc, reroll anything I don't like, modify focus results and regenerate shields! Debilitated I am!"

Could you put this into 1-2 hour podcast format?
