BTAvenger has been a hot topic in the meta since Wave 7, but it's not as effective as BTs and Overload Pulse. While BTAvenger pins exhausted tokens BT+OP can delete (and I mean discard) all defense tokens!

Here's one build that I use to maximise this combo (assuming Vader for Imps):

Victory II (85)
• Minister Tua (2)
• Boarding Troopers (3)
• Quad Battery Turrets (5)
• Overload Pulse (8)
• Warlord (8)
• Electronic Countermeasures (7)
= 118 Points

and another:

Imperial II (120)
• Boarding Troopers (3)
• Electronic Countermeasures (7)
• Overload Pulse (8)
• Quad Battery Turrets (5)
• Devastator (10)
= 153 Points

and a third (more successful, assuming Raddus)

MC75 Armored Cruiser (104)
• Boarding Troopers (3)
• Electronic Countermeasures (7)
• External Racks (3)
• Heavy Ion Emplacements (9)
• Quad Battery Turrets (5)
• Profundity (7)
= 131 Points

CR90 Corvette B (39)
• Overload Pulse (8)
= 47 Points

So you still need to pulse with a different ship than the one that boards, because BTs trigger when revealing a dial and OLP during your attack. Double arcing won't do it.

In that vein, Raddus is probably the best choice; @RedDogReb mentioned fighting a CR90B dropped from a Profundity Armored Cruiser that can achieve this. Personally I prefer to drop a Hammerhead with another set of Boarding Troopers and discard tokens that way; I find it more reliable and flexible.
