What do you guys think? First played it against my little brother. Tend to start the As together on the left in a ^ formation, Poe off by himself. Idea's to make Poe a target and have the A-Wings swarm a target, then just furball it out after the first or second kill. It does serious work and in Fly Casual seems to do well. In the first play against my little brother, ganked two ARCs and Plo Koon in a Delta-7B, took no losses to my ships. Just damage, but no
losses.
Having a way to
always
make a Focus token count is absolutely invaluable. I'd considered throwing predator on there if I dropped Poe and put on another A-Wing, but Poe's "HEY OVER HERE NERDS" aspect of the strategy is pretty important to the A-Wing's success, and they are very much the real powerhouses of this list.
Honestly,
I may not even need Poe Dameron, but the fact he can focus and target lock every turn so long as I blue it up is extremely useful, if not outright
essential
to ensuring he is a consistent, worth-targeting threat.
I'm not saying it's easy to lose L'ulo in the fray, but three A-Wings going to town doesn't make focusing one target down easy.
I've found a lot of success with this one. What's 5As got that this doesn't?
