It should be over by now. I started watching the finals a few hours ago, but had to leave home before the first engagement happened.

Gold Squadron were streaming all weekend. You should be able to catch a replay on Twitch or YT.

Top 4 was quad phantoms vs rebel beef and quad phantoms vs imp aces.

Finals was quad phantoms vs rebel beef.

Quad phantoms won. Rebel player made quite a few mistakes like wedge only getting 1 attack, and I dont think cassian ever got an attack, and the game was still close.

Any news on Seattle? It's probably underway, isn't it?

Man, I only watched a part of the Seattle Final, as it was getting real late in Europe. An interesting take on Hatchetman with Soontir subbing in for Vader (which is kind of wierd, as Jendon is now only there for Vynder's lock and has no syngery with Soontir or himself, but hey, it was in the Finals, so it worked I guess).

Soontir was the mirror match meta-call against a Vader.

Realistically, if you go that direction, Kagi is probably the better choice than Jendon. Vynder w Adv Slam and a coordinate platform really isn't hurting for efficiency.

I'd probably only use it if I was taking an unmodified shot against a Reinforced target, and had multiple other ships that would be able to shoot that target after me. A single hit result would be enough to take down the shield, allowing the rest of the squad to deal full damage.

In the current meta, that's basically just the Palp shuttles and Chiraneau pilots.

I had jamming beam on my bwings in my rebel beef list. I fired them about 3-4 times.

Once against a vader to try to knock off lock/focus. Would have been pretty solid and saved me about 2-3 damage on a bwing, but he rolled evades. Another against a vynder but he evaded.

In a different game, twice in the same round against a Vynder with focus/lock about to use an APT. Getting it through would have been fantastic on the first shot, but he got evades. Then wedge had to shoot. After that he still hadn't used the focus, so I shot the jamming beam again with the 2nd bwing. This time he had to spend the focus to not get 2 hits. Ended up preventing quite a bit of damage on my uwing, which seemed decent.

Jamming beam is alright. Swarm tactics Wedge makes it a bit more usable. The dream is something like knocking a focus/lock off a disarmed vynder and then shooting him with the rest of the squad.

So, Bologna this weekend was a big Rebel-fest (13 in top 16 and 7 in top 8 I think)? Almost half of which was Beef or Beef-like.

The finals were Beef on Beef also (although with more generics than usual, the winning list had only Wedge as a named pilot).

The only two games I lost during the weekend, actually. I'm quite happy I won't have to face that Han anymore

I added my list. It was a really fun weekend the only problem was the heat wave that was on going on this weekend.

I think it could be the closest experience of playing in mustafar.

If I remember correctly, ADG's was:
