The CIS seamed to do a lot of blockadeing what. About a commander that lets you spend tokens at speed zero, its possible it would be broken, but intresting to playtest maybe.
Wild Clone wars COMMANDER Specualation

I mean, sure. Mothma is a Political leader, but in her own words, deliberately leaves off the grand strategy and tactical works to Admirals and Generals... The times we see her, it is only ever as a Political leader - even in Rebels, she leaves Tactical decisions to Hera at the time... Her greatest command is, basically, "you do it.
So when we get to Ahsoka, we have record of her at least attempting to do so, and we're shown - from that point onward - that she is indeed, a direct commander and leader... So I just figure, she'd qualify...
Now, is she a priority qualification given the rest? **** no. Personally, I'd be fine if we left the Jedi for the Squadrons and Upgrades, and kept it at Admirals, Captains and Commanders (Clones or Not) for Fleet Commanders... But we know that's not going to happen

On that note, just wanted to mention that ffg made MM an elusive ability to fit her thematic role, but funnily enough she is more aggressive commander what with MC30s, CR90bs and CRam90s charging into opponents. Maybe should have swapped her and Cracken's ability

Anakin would actually be a great commander to have this considering how many times he led a boarding action in the series.
Wat Tambor?

\Well they just *had* to have their piece. I mean, they were JEDI, of course they were capable of commanding. They're just BETTER than you and I.
Hm. Dumb thought: Would people want TCW commanders to be bound to the same rough 20-38 point range? Would people be interested in cheaper commanders? More powerful?

This could work well for Nute Gunray as a Commander, maybe limit it in some way (once per turn I don't think would work thematically since you'll want multiple ships in a "blockade")
Alternatively the Lukerhulk could just have a non-unique title ("Trade Federation Blockade Fleet") that could specifically grant that ship the ability and just give Gunray something to play off that like "when a ship at speed 0 activates it may turn one red defense token to green".
I agree with the Grievous versus Yularen in the core set.
Grievous; when a friendly ship or squadron attacks, it may suffer one damage to turn one die to a different face.
Yularen; When a friendly ship would suffer damage, another friendly ship at range 1 may suffer that amount of damage instead.
Yularen vs Trench would make sense. The battle for Cristopolios is one of the first fleet engagements we see in the chronological events of The Clone Wars.

They also are the two biggest (known) Admirals on both sides of the conflict.
What about the droid attack on the Wookies? That guy.

8 year old with a light saber, seems like a good plan. She did grow on me in rebels (i couldn't make it through much of clone wars, i hear it becomes great in the later seasons but i made it to/ through season 3 and gave up).
I'm tired of so many jedi being present after order 66.

What do we think the failure rate of order 66 actually was?
I mean, taking into account the proported 10,000 Jedi knights, and the fact that two of the focused ones, Kanan (Caleb) and Ahsoka, “technically” don’t count as Jedi Knights?
I mean, even if they do... Were looking at like, 6 or 7 out of 10,000 odd, right?
by any efficiency measure, that’s pretty **** good...
As even the casual Star Wars fans know of Kenobi and Grievous we might see them in a CW Armada core set (like CW Legion did).
I would like to see Trench as an Admiral with a powerful ability. Just look at how concerned Yularen is when he figures out the opposing Admiral is Trench!

I’m guessing we’d see a Thrawn type powerful ability on him.
Even though he died about 30 seconds after appearing, what about Admiral Dao? He's still one of a very small number of naval commanders we actually see in TCW...

Maybe an officer slot?

I feel like Skywalker and Grevous, with the same general logic. Though Kenobi works well too.

The added Rieekan, who as far as I know has like 6 seconds of screen time and commanded ground troops. So... sure. And Mothma, who had more screen time but didn’t command ships or troops. So any “leader” is fair game.

This. Between really unique character design, his personality, and Yularen being ready to wet himself after recognizing who he was up against, Trench better be the CIS 32-38 point monster admiral.
Them give me mecha-trench as a different admiral too.

It's interesting that Rieekan isn't even released for Legion yet, and Luke and Han as commanders for Armada(Though I guess Luke is a squadron commander since he is in a squadron?)

Rieekan would have made a lot of sense for Legion now that you mention it. I hadn’t thought of that.
So here‘s our speculation: 😉
But for sure CIS with Dooku and Grievous and GAR with Yoda and Mace!!

Yeah season 4 is around when things get interesting and Asoka's childside goes away a bit more.
I HOPE WE GET SOME CLONE COMMANDERS LIKE WOLF, CODY, AND OTHERS.
Jan Dodonna and Adar Tallon!
