Foam cutting goes *sloooooooooowly*.... 😭
A little more progress this weekend on Echo Base...
Snow Trooper moving past the barracks/quarters.
Beginning of a med bay with some stand in Bacta tanks...
Command center with some essential personnel...
I discovered these at the hardware store and think they might be a good cheap way to make doorways!
This is incredible!
Awesome project.
Thanks all!
Now this table's is Lexical Scope's contribution to the Battle of Hoth, but between my Ice Plains table and Echo Base table, and his Hoth Trenches table we are getting ready for Legion's most thematic and epic narrative event yet!
Looking good!
Okay, now we're starting to look like something!
I'm feeling it's certainly too blue (the floor for sure) but I'm okay with another top down spray of white after mounting. I also wanted blue for depth under the woodland scenics snow I'm planning on dropping in the floor after I put in floor plates and cables. I think it's okay to be too blue at this stage...
It looks amazing!
Ok now I'm making floor plates but I'm not sure what scale to use that works with all the types of hallways I have... What do you all think?
BIG
MEDIUM
SMALL
And also testing some lazer cut doors...
Too tall to be quite accurate to the film set blueprints... but want them wide enough for Legion bases and not mess too much with the proportions...
I dunno, what do you all think?

The doors look nice! Honestly, if you hadn't mentioned they weren't technically to scale, I wouldn't have noticed; though looking at it, yeah, I could see them being a smidge tall. Might be worth considering squishing it to be a bit shorter while keeping the same width--it'd mess with the proportions a bit, but as it stands they look too thin to begin with. Either way, they look great, and I'm sure with some paint it'll fit in no matter what.
As for the panels, they all kinda look the same (I actually did a double take to make sure it wasn't just the same three images ). Is there a way we could get a side-by-side comparison?
I like the doors as-is. Buildings and vehicles always suffer in scale comparisons to minis, because the minis are on a base that raises them off the the tabletop whereas most scenery pieces are not. As such, scale-correct scenery always looks a little "off" next to the minis. The doors are a perfect example: too tall for an unbased mini, but if you made them the scale-correct height, they'd look too short on the tabletop.
And as @Castlecruncher said, the floor panels all look pretty similar. Without a side-by-side or dimensional comparison, I'd recommend the big ones just to save yourself some time.
