So I know we're all hype for Clone Wars...

I’ve always kind of wondered why legion hasn’t already brought in the inquisitors, or at least the grand inquisitor already as operatives or army commanders.

Operatives are still pretty new so there might be a number in play testing.

As for commanders I didn't get the feeling from the show the inquisition did much commanding they seemed more like independent agents (at least how they were presented in Rebels).

Grand Inquisitor moved some guys around but yeah, that could just as easily be similar to Sabine having one command card which affects allies.

In general I think FFG has aimed for tangible stuff with movie presence first, Sabine is a very recent announcement which isn't out yet and we're in a design wave still otherwise dense with core film releases. Solo or Rebels is as good a place as any for OT stuff to spring from next, but I think we're due for a slow down in Rebels and Imperial releases as Clone Wars factions catch up.

I’ve lost more than a couple games to Luke and Son of Skywalker. I would love to see both Purge Troopers and Inquisitors come out as a counter, especially with the Jedi heavy Republic coming. Both have a cool factor to them too, the Inquisitors were one of my favorite parts of the Rebels tv show. Also, I can’t wait to play Fallen Order, I just hope EA doesn’t fatally screw it up some how.

The Empire already has a Anti-Luke option in Royal Guards with an electrostaff. Just wait until he places Luke and then plunk them down where they can cover most places he can reach your units. As a Rebel player, trust me, it's infuriating.

It is revealed in “Ashoka” that the inquisitors HAVE Carte Blanche to do what they want directing the Imperial Army and Stormtroopers about. Authority Invested and Whatnot, as Agents of the Empire.

They just usually don’t care to, because they have “new breed” elitism.

They are the ones. They are the new breed. They will do it.

Makes sense very similar to how ISB agents were depicted in the shoe as well. If or when we get Inquisitors I expect the grand inquisitor to be a commander and any others would be operatives or perhaps even a way to have them be both but only playable as one or the other at a time

Second Sister here basically is the generic inquisitor, all the other one's shown actually have distinguishing features as opposed to her default ominous faceless look, and they are not a very large organization.

I believe that’s because it’s a trailer. I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out to be Barris offee.

I like this theory. It makes sense

It does and it doesn’t. I’m sure Anakin harbors feelings of bitterness towards Barris because she is part of the reason Ashoka leaves, but at the same time, after Anakin betrays the Jedi he may think she was right all along, so he may have spared her. It really depends.

It certainly doesn’t make sense for her to ally with the Republic as an enforcer given that her impetus for treason was the Jedi were being too involved in the military matters of the Republic, and stopped being peace keepers.

At this point though, it’s not the Republic, it’s a very new empire, one that gave the Jedi the justice they deserved (In Barris’ mind anyway). To her, the Jedi reaped what they sowed, perhaps this pushes her to accept the dark side. Or perhaps she is given an ultimatum, join or die. Either way, I think we’re in for a good story.

Meh, new name same bosses.

Besides, it’s the job that Bariss was objecting to, there’s no way she goes back to do something that she killed people in protest of, it would be totally irrational.

And I don’t buy that anyone would really accept such an ultimatum, not in a universe where you can pretty much go into hiding on a whim. Case example: Cad Bane literally held the senate hostage and nobody bothered to track him down.
