They confirmed 2 new ships by the end of the year

But it's really the 2 new sizeable ships that make me happy, because it feels it's on top of Clone Wars
And even if I like Clone Wars less than the original trilogy ... I feel that an accessible campaign starting at 200, and a new core with two new factions might be the best things that could happen to expand the player base of the game.

That is what they said, and sounds like those will be for Galactic Civil War since they mentioned them BEFORE the Clone Wars announcements.

I really want to see one more Rebel medium base ship, and want to see the Imperial support vessel/dreadnought for the empire would also like to see the Braha'tok/Dornean Gunship as well, but time will tell.
Cannot wait for the Clone Wars.
The richness of design in both factions is going to be incredible.
Plus if they scale Clone Wars to the existing factions then expansions are actually going to be CHEAPER.
The ships of the era, except for a few exceptions, tend to be smaller. I don’t expect the Venator to be a large base ship for instance.
