The publication of the new FAQ seems to have been posponed endlessly 
. Any idea when it will be made available? Also, why not offering a beta version for downloading? Apparently a draft copy has been circulating among some members of the forum, who do a great proofreading job, I am sure. However why not making it available to everyone? Thanks 
It's getting passed between the reviewers to make sure redundancies are eliminated and that things to which we all reach a consensus can be codified. After that it'll get sent back go JR, and it'll be in FFG's hands. So, it'll be up soonish. But I would expect Lurker to be released before the FAQ is up.
One good reason to not release it is because it's a long document with lots of ambiguities and potential errors. It would be better if they never saw the light of day and spread their vile taint ;') I'm feeling very high inquisitor today.
Thanks to you both. The reason why I ask is because I have been maintaining a reference sheet that I published here and on BGG. I have a version which I annotated with the errata and the answers from the game authors on that forum, the old FFG forum and the BGG one. I was wondering if it could be possible to have a look in advance, to update my reference document. How were the happy winner chosen? Is there a special pass to get, or a special encounter to meet, to get this errata in advance?

How were we selected? I have no idea honestly. Maybe we stuck out to the moderators for some reason. When I made a huge stink about the rules problems with Lily Chen's ability as written (as it applies to Yig specifically) probably made me stick out as anal and capable of correlating minutia. Or I think. Plus, when Roxas first announced the FAQ project, I immediately responded with an entire volume of Dark Pharaoh questions. Yeah, I'm that much of a loser.
The way I've been playing it so far is that I've been answering questions to the forum that are mentioned in the proof. I don't think we're allowed to share these documents, so I'd prefer to play it safe until told otherwise by someone at FFG. You know what I mean?
I'm not a part of the FAQ project, but i suspect that Avi's right. If the FAQ were released at this point it would probably raise many more questions than it answered. I can wait.
I used to correct problems with rules phrasings and terminological misconceptions during JeR's Arkham Leagues. I also pointed out game breaking exploits.

Yep, however I had only hard copies of the very first one, which are in a box of the last house move If you look at the official answer thread, I participated in the copy over of the old FAQ.

The file might only be available from BGG forums. I have a new version that I want to post soon.
I can understand the point of having a closed review of the FAQ, but contrary to avec I don't think that will prevent further questions!
