I know all the trailers and teasers for Episode IX show maybe a combined total of two minutes from the movie, but I'm kinda surprised I haven't seen any clips of the Knights of Ren pop up in the trailers. I'd think these guys would be featured more with this being their first appearance after their name drop in Force Awakens.

Probably background characters. Five bucks says this guy’s gonna be chopping carrots in a cantina scene somewhere. 😉

Yeah, that sounds like the kind of job a guy named "Trudgen" would be doing.
“Revenge of the Sith”, “Solo”, “Rogue One”, and “A New Hope” make for one heck of a quadrilogy.
I forgot how awesome Rogue One is!

New Scenes

I’m gonna need them to stop releasing more new scenes ahead of the movie.
The Knights of Ren

Just rewatched Return of the Jedi.
It feels oddly anticlimactic, especially in comparison to the climaxes of The Empire Strikes Back and A New Hope.
I’m actually really happy they’re bringing Palpatine back. He deserves a climactic ending.
@Imperial Advisor Arem Heshvaun Do not post leaks.

I generally don’t post actual plot point leaks, I atrmept to no go past sharing things like names, ships or places unless it’s already in or about to be general cultural knowledge. Mostly I’m just (a little early) on Canon about to be shared.
Very against my nature to spoil a movie or even novel for someone.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's from the "anti-Disney/sequel" crowd going on to rate the movie before they've even seen it, just to try and generate negativity for it.

It's critic scores for now. Interestingly they seem to be complaining mostly about it being bland, not creative enough, and just repeating some of the stuff from previous films (which sounds like it might be a fair criticism, given Abrams, and given what we've seen so far). But that's also an understandable response from Lucasfilm to the reaction to TLJ - they tried to do something creative, more artistic and more thematic, and some very loud people didn't like it.
We’re seeing increasing disconnect between the critics and the audience. Critics loved tlj, the fans were split, critics panned the Warcraft movie and netflix’s Bright, yet the general viewers looked on those films more favorably. Won’t surprise me to see and inverse response yet again from the two camps, this time with ix.
Tldr; I don’t put too much stock into the critics anymore.

Not me. It’s a sign it actually might be good.
Exactly. Critics loved The Last Jedi and fans were split. I loved it but the critics certainly didn’t reflect the ultimate consensus.
I expect a movie like The Force Awakens that simply doesn’t borrow major plot elements from prior films such as Starkiller Base. A safe, fan pleaser that makes some bold moves but ultimately is predictable. If the journey is enjoyable I guess I don’t mind.
I rewatched Return of the Jedi and was very disappointed so if TROS can at least top that i’ll be incredibly happy.
Edited by Forresto@Imperial Advisor Arem Heshvaun Can you create a spoiler thread for the film (as done for every prior release) and rename this as the non-spoiler thread?
That way we don’t have any unfortunate mishaps.
I’d like to say one thing before the inevitable tidal wave of hot takes hits. I go into movies, hopeful that I’ll enjoy them. I love star wars, and I want to enjoy the films. Sadly I wasn’t a fan of tfa and tlj, but other people were and that’s fine. Many people were critical of r1 and solo, but I really enjoyed both of those films. I’m truly looking forwards to ix.
Point is, enjoy the things you enjoy, and don’t let the noise take away your capacity to enjoy the things in life that bring you happiness.
We’re in the end game now boys. May the force be with us.

Tbf the child is a cheap trick. That much cuteness is emotional manipulation on a very high level.
