That is pretty possible. In Shattered Empire when Leia went to Naboo she could feel the presence of hatred Maul left there. So for a powerful force user like palp in his grave...

Looks kinda like the bridge of an ISD, yes, but also sort of looks to be "facing" the wrong direction. IE., the neck seems to be descending in the direction the A-Wing is flying, but we see the A-Wing flying over quite a bit more length of hull.
So I'm thinking it's another new ship?
Ok Rey's finally getting her ball rolling, she looks AWESOME now and I'm being serious. But we just learned that "The Saga Comes to An End".
So, time for 30 years of radio silence from her till they bring her out to "pass the torch" when they revive the franchise.

The title of "SKYWALKER" has been mentioned in the new Thrawn book. apparently Chiss do have a few force sensitive individuals, but manifests in children and only in precognition astronavigation abilities. The Chiss call children with the ability as 'skywalkers'

Based on what little lore we know about the existing canon, it's much more likely the new rebellion salvaged a few old ISDs from the scrapyards to fight the FO with. I mean scrapping out 25,000 +/- ISDs would take decades, right?

That would fit with the presence of what appears to be an ISD-I , wouldn't it...? Huh.
Might not even be Kylo in the interceptor. The pilot being him is a fair assumption, but we only see the pilot's gloves...
What if that opening scene with Rey and the FO interceptor is just a vision/ dream? It seems more like a spiritual meaning in fighting a starfighter with just a lightsaber, and less like an action scene.
