Now that 7 factions have settled I want to ask if you feel like the faction you settled with was the correct choice or maybe it was a case of the grass is greener?

Empire? Republic?

Wherever I roam, man, it's all good.

Still happy with my Rebels, and having a surprisingly good time with S&V, and I'm content with my decision to not get into the prequel factions.

Still can’t get enough of my Rebels and Imperials, have flown some First Order, and plan to dabble in the Republic and convert Scum soon. I’m not getting into the two remaining factions. Maybe I can get off my OT factions long enough to get some games with the new stuff but it’s so much fun flying classic ships and having a chance to win, unlike the Dark Times.

Playing scum, so many options! Definitely in a happy place

To buy Resistance conv kit as my 7th faction or nottttt....

Especially, when I think the transports all look stupid.

Imperial Homer for life.

And I am the Senate.

I’m still enjoying flying both Resistance and Rebels... and occasionally Scum.

Yet to try Republic, due to the stock and shipping issues in the UK... so we’ll see!

Well, I have 5 of the 7. I kind of regret getting First Order as I just don't like them as much. I love the Empire and Separatists the best, but also like the Scum every now and again.

I've got at least limited selections of ships within six factions. Regrets? I have a few.

• I am really enjoying (and doing poorly) with CIS.
• Rebels remain my go to
• Imperials holding strong in the next slot, always requiring a second look for tournaments
• I keep brushing the dust off that Lancer and trying to play around with my few Scum ships
• Resistance... Well.... Did play a bit on Vassal, does that count? My minis are getting dusty...
• FO... uh oh. I've played them one night since second edition dropped.

I'm happy I converted Rebels and Imperials. Not regretting my leap into Republic. Generally unexcited to play with my Resistance conversion. Sold out of 1.0 First Order and never bought into Scum. Not interested in Separatists.

I’m loving the light side so far and glad I got into the three R’s. If I have any regrets it’s that I just don’t have the resources (time or money) to keep up with four factions (I also converted my Scum collection). I can’t get in games with all of them!

But man, tough question! I mean, I jumped on the StarViper as a faction, but it's hard. So hard. Punishes every little mistake, no easy mode. But I don't get enough chances to play to git gud, so it's.... I'm trying not to get frustrated, you know? There is a certain sense of the grass being greener, especially when I look at those other Force-using factions. By the 'Viper, man; the 'Viper! Now that thing really moves!

I have all factions but Republic, and I’ve enjoyed them at different points in time. I’m less excited about scum in 2.0, but I’ve really enjoyed my adventures with separatists.

Exploring anything under the Sun with it possibly being decent: Empire

Limited but more powerful version of imperials in arcdodgers and efficiency jousters, aided by boosted abilities and slots: FO

Rebel Synergy combined with Empire/FO ace/slow rolling force brawler: Republic

Have yet to convert Scum or buy the other factions. Maybe when the get SNR legal platforms. A strange prerequisite given that Kylo and Mace are the undisputed best SNR platforms.

I’ve converted all my old stuff into the first 5 factions and bought into Republic. So, I’m largely happy with my options, though there are reports of Sith Infiltrator shinanigans that do make me gaze longingly at the untouched CIS.

I've firmly settled in on hexagons. So, like 1/2 of all the factions. Ish.

Except now, now I must build Lando. So that makes... all but resistance I guess until Episode 9 ships are released?

I started with empire and scum. I've dabbled with the first order and republic.

Lately I have been focusing on rebels and it's been a blast. I don't think the grass is actually greener its just fresher. I've always played swarms, arc dodgers, or ace archetypes so it's time to try something new.

Gotta catch em all! I think they are all great in their own way. But if i had to rate them on biased preference:

1. Republic. Aniiiiiiii! + Obiiiii!!!!!

2. Rebels. Wedgey! + Lukey!!!

3. Imperials. Aniiiiiii! + swaaarm!

4. CIS. Doooooku + drones!

5. Scum. Tallllllonbaaaaaane!

6. Resitance. Luuuuuulo!

7. First Order. Kyyyylo!!!
