No clues that we're aware of on Vaulting.

Definitely no trans-matter rays, freeze rays, or remote controls for vans either...

Any droids on Vaulting?

I mean yes, duh, what kind of Evil Empire do you think we are running here?!

We have evil protocol droids, evil astrometric droids, evil droids that pretend to be "keep left" signs until you get to close to them. All the standard ones.

These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along

By all accounts, the locusts seem to be entering a kind of dormant state.

Maybe it's winter on their home world.

Studies indicate that the dormant state is likely to last for only one galactic turning.

Turn 13 hyperpings: A2, B1, C1, C2, H1, H2, dsI, J, L2, L3, T2, W, dsW, dsU, X1.

Over A2, a 258 point Wookiee task force engages 22 Locust Drones. A 2 is rolled and the Locusts are all very, very destroyed. No Wookiee casualties. A2 is reoccupied.

A 400 point ELE fleet squashes a single Locust over C1.

A 478 point URASC fleet engages a 338 point swarm of Locust Drones over C2; a 7 is rolled and becomes a 6. A Raider-2 is destroyed and a Raider-1 is scarred. 102 Locust drones are swatted, and the Malarian Brood is obligated to retreat.

11 Locusts over H2 are smashed by a 226 point Wookiee fleet. No Wookiee casualties.

10 Locusts assault U and encounter a 7 point Gungan defense force. A 12 is rolled and converted into an 11; 5 locusts are destroyed and the survivors must retreat.

A Merry Crew TIE Fighter Squadron over J is destroyed by a 420 point PL fleet; no PL casualties in orbit, and the world is successfully invaded.

The PL world of L3 is under Merry Crew blockade; a bombardment destroys 2 GF and 2 credit production.

H1, B1, B2 and K2 remain infested.

Turn 14 is now live, and ends in 48 hours. Awaiting orders from:

@Ardaedhel

@FortyInRed

Orders from LTD, GNIPs, Bertie, idjmv, Biggs, Matt and Dras have been processed.

Edited by The Jabbawookie

Both missions have been completed.

New mission: Are You Not Entertained?

Emerge victorious in a naval battle involving 3 or more factions (excluding the Malarian Brood.)

[SUSPENDED]

New mission: Unnnlimited Powah!

Conquer 2 entire systems, each with 2 or more worlds you did not previously occupy.

The Malarian Brood is eligible to complete this mission.

Gungans: 1/2 (X)

Turn 12 research breakthrough: autopsies of dead Locust Drones reveal organs bearing some similarities to those in Purrgil. The Locusts appear to be hyperspace-capable individually, and are not reliant on hyperdrive technology.

Locust Drones do not consume fuel when jumping.

@BiggsIRL we wish to warn you that we will be sending a fleet to H1 to combat the locusts. Please keep your forces away lest an accident occur.

CP9-J: Will do. We are operating under the assumption that H2 is your territory - We have no-fire orders in place for your forces, and brought no ground forces to occupy it with my fleet. We will not be sending forces to H1.

It looks as though it is currently unoccupied though. Please send some ground forces to occupy it IMMEDIATELY. I cannot stress the urgency enough. Hold fire orders from my space forces will be in place until such a time as we can confirm the bugs are not trying to claim it omce more.

We will send a force with ground forces this turn. Thank you for your support.

Please confirm the accuracy of this statement.

Turn 12 saw a battle between ELE and Remnant forces over B1. There was mention of the swarm at the time. I suspect you mean B2 and B3?

(I see C1, C2 but no mention of B...)

(Edit: Turn 12, nevermind)

Taken to PM.

(That would've been a funny Vassal fight. Z-95 vs. Y-Wing!)

So it's true; the drones do not consume fuel. I think we can also assume by now that they do not have GF, and blockading planets helps them to multiply.

@idjmv be advised that out fleet commanders put in the wrong Hyperspace coordinates on turn 12 and ended up attacking B3 not B1. It would appear that this is where the bulk of the Remnant is hiding as the other two planets in their system are infested.

We are telling you as you had staked a claim to that world under our shared assumption that it was sparsely populated. Logic says otherwise now...

Understood. We will go to B1 if you so wish. The battle at C2 was a slaughter of the Brood, and we are still very strong.

Wouldn't that end in victory 100% of the time for the side fielding the y-wing?

Turn 2, game ends because neither side has a ship in play.

Side with Y-Wing wins because they have more points, right?

In that case want to go whack their home fleet at B3? :D

Edit: joking aside, you and I can afford losses they cannot. Relying on a strategy of attrition could actually be viable..

Second Player wins.

I would use my 3 point bid for second then. 😁

No, but seriously. Join us, and together etc. etc.

@BiggsIRL given the ruling for allied fleets when fighting a single enemy, would you be willing to lend me your fleet over H2 for this turn, so that should the swarm attack (in avoiding my attack on H1) a united front can be presented? Once my ship drops off the GF it will rejoin the main fleet, and your fleet will be returned to you.

CP9-J: It has come to our attention that for you to even LAND troops you would need the bigger force, as our mere presence may scare your forces off even if we do not open fire on one another, unless we go the route you suggest. It is VITAL that you secure this territory immediately though with ground forces, as I am sure you will see why upon arrival. If you were not able to, we certainly would, however large the slight against you with our understanding of your territory.

Therefor, we will do exactly as you suggest - our forces above H2 will merge with yours. All additional ships should be returned to the site of our choosing next turn (probably G1). In addition, you may keep one of the Pelta-C's. We feel that between that, and our assistance in seizing (or retaking) H2, our previous agreement of 1 ship every 4 turns should be amended to just a defensive alliance between our two peoples. We think, upon arrival this turn, you will agree that this is very fair, and in keeping with the spirit of our original alliance.
