Luke surges so he’s probably better. Crit 2 does help with that but, Obi seems to be very defensive compared to Luke.

At least he has MoTF 1.

I just realized he doesn't have an attack surge beyond critical, which would make Luke's better. You're still not going to see more than 1 surge come up from a roll on average so it's not a big difference.

Soresru mastery is basically deflect except it works for guardian. Thats pretty cool. Critical 2 and impact 2 on the lightsaber gonna tear up armour. The dice on the saber aint too amazing though but they decent. Good upgrade slots too

More defensive than Luke, but that fits his lightsaber form compared to Luke's as well. I like it.

What does Critical do again?

Technically he does? Arguably Critical 2 is just a more limited version of Surge -> Crit.

It also works in melee, which deflect didn't.

Let’s you convert a surge to a crit. Great on units that don’t surge naturally.

MOTF 1 means he can spam Jedi Mind Trick and do a stupid amount of suppression, or get a dodge every turn to use his super deflect, or force push units around.

Hm, hard to say yet but I think Luke looks like a better choice. Though Obi is more defensive and can provide more support which can have uses.

Right, but the more expensive unit is immune to pierce, and can spend dodge tokens when using guardian to deflect back on the attacker. Seems good.

I can see Duck and Cover, Saber Throw, Force Reflexes and Improvised Orders (if he’s the only commander) on Obi, so his cost is going to rival Vader, if not surpass it.
