Honestly a bit surprised that they didn't have Resistance get a spot in that spread, considering Rebels and Clone Wars did.

I see a Rogue One section as well but no Solo section. Maybe they want to celebrate the character in the films that are loved and not the one that a lot of people hated.

Also, the Ep. VIII panel is rather...sparse...

LOL! I completely missed it! I was looking for it in the wrong place.

Maybe this was commissioned before Resistance was started? That's all I can guess. Or maybe the blured area has something we're missing? (I'm sure someone there can confirm/deny.)

You mean the part on the far right covered with black cloth (that is most likely the Episode IX panel)?

But EA is terrible, and I expect this will be too. Because I hate shooters.
