Howdy.

Wondered if anyone uses the Legion Premiums Bases & if so, do you paint your base first, then attach the model (i.e. pin them), or attach the model then paint them?

I've been using them, and yeah, I've painted the bases first. I generally lightly glue the model to a plain base then cut it off and re-base once I'm finished painting.

I paint them with a dark Grey and then Nuln Oil wash them, then drybrush with Leadbelcher

Frankly I'm baffled by the design as to me those indoor-themed bases don't mesh well with SWL's outdoor-sized battles at all outside maybe an assault on a military installation. I only might seriously consider using them if they do a Kill Team-esque ruleset one day.
