Executor Tank

By itzSteve, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

I am just playing around with the SSD a bit and came up with the following build. Can it hold up against a full bomber squadron build? I just don't know if it can repair fast enough...

Well, I mean... Part of the issue is wether you’re burning your own shields with JJ, or you’re willing to go further.

Lira Wissex can help by potentially keeping “Power Failure” away when your DCO contains are pressured.

Orgerwise, when you’re spamming Engineer, there’s no point to Executor, since you have all the tokens you need...

An opponent can call your bluff on an SSD Tank.

If they think you're going to spam engineering commands all game, they can simply target the rest of your fleet and ignore the tank.

Tactically, there's gonna have to be a little more to this ship than meets the eye.

... What rest of the Fleet?

You mean the Interdictor they need to go THROUGH the SSD to get to? 😁

If you want to run the Life Support approach to the SSD, then perhaps Repair crews on the gozanti instead, dropping the comms nee and the SSD's LS? Maybe use the last 2pts for Wessex or Cmdr Gherant? Maybe even make Piett your Admiral to give you more options for token use (including extra yaw)? Loving seeing the new ideas coming for the SSD and it's upgarde cards, esp now they're starting to appear on fleet builders.
