Storage containers ...

By thinkbomb, in Imperial Assault Painting and Modification

So, I'm doing prep work for painting, and here's a question ...

How do you story your figures that you've painted? The FFG plastic bags definitely won't work once the figs are all pretty'd up.

I tried searching/shopping and couldn't get my keywords to produce a good result.

thanks in advance!

If you're looking for protection, battlefoam.com is generally a good place. Actually normally they are awsome, but admittedly, not as good for Imperial Assault as other games. Pricey as well, but offer great protection.

I'm using 2 of these at the moment (2-inch size), they fit pretty much all of the 1x1 figures with some exceptions like Gaarkhan and Vader.

I still need a solution for bigger figures.

I use a couple of HDX organizers from Home Depot (link: https://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-15-Compartment-Interlocking-Small-Parts-Organizer-in-Black-2-Pack-320034/204515485).

I glued washers to the underside of each figure, and stuck magnetic tape to the inside of each compartment of the organizer. This keeps the figures from moving around inside the organizer.

Really smart thinking! :D nice

What do you do with your massives and taller figs?

Kanan, Terro, and the Bantha rest on their sides with the magnetic tape on the side of the compartment. The rancor and walkers are in one of the boxes with some cardboard separating them. Much less elegant lol

If you are europe based feldherr no question.
