As you can tell; I am sampling many different ideas for new Star Wars technologies. I can’t find one that I like but their are areas I like to try. Now for hyperdrives. What can be done to make them more efficient besides obviously going faster.

Also if you have a suggestion; when you describe it; try to give it a rudimentary “title” at the end.

Ways to make them better:

1. Group multiple ships into a single jump speed, based on the fastest ship in the group. Think of how drafting works with automobiles and you have kind of the idea that I'm referring to.

2. Finding ways to ignore gravitational objects, so that you can plot direct lines between any two points. Under the current version you have to adjust trajectories based on objects. "Flying through hyperspace aint like dusting crops boy. Without precise calculations you'd fly too close to a star or bounce off of a supernova and that would end your trip real quick wouldn't it?!" Tech that basically says "Lul, screw your stars and supernovas, I'm just phasing right through them and don't care!" Would drastically reduce travel time.

3. Since they've introduce fuel for the hyperdrive systems, ways to make them no longer require fuel, or require far less fuel than standard methods. Or allow them to utilize some other fuel that is more readily available.
