Are these available as videos afterward? If I don't get noticed at work, then I can have it on, but I likely won't get to see the whole thing.

@Weyoun42 I believe so they streamed the outer rim game a few days ago and its now posted as a video.

Are they still going to do this with the delay on the SSD?

That one actually looks good enough to pick up. My wife watched part of it and thought it looked fun.

Point fortress play styles are generally not fun for the opposing player. And very binary. Either the SSD goes down and they win, or it doesn't and you win.

They also confirmed that SSD movement is from the front of the rear base, and collisions work as with any other ships - no special rules there. Both of these I think we already knew/expected.

Half points includes upgrades

Obstacles have normal effects on the SSD, too. I think we expected that, but good to have confirmed.

Yeah, dislike that a lot. Really wanted Advanced Projectors on the SSD 😕

Enhanced Armament doesn't affect auxiliary arcs.

Confirmed that huge ships can only take one modification, same as everything else.

No special missions in the SSD, either. "Just content you use with the ship. Sector fleet rules developed alongside it, but we put those online because you don't need the SSD to play those."

That's kinda disappointing. I would have liked a unique SSD mission like with the Raider in X-wing. But I guess they are making a whole campaign expansion PLUS the sector fleet rules, so I guess I shouldn't be salty.

Eh, it's not the one-off mission that is hoped for so much as the X-Wing-style mini-campaigns that came with their 'huge' ships. Those were pretty cool, nicely story-focused, usually with at least one split based on mission results.

Would have been cool, is all.

Im sure it would have been... But I was thoroughly unimpressed by them... I never saw anyone play them more than once, even if they did - and even then, they did just because they needed stuff to Stream...

Really nice stream. They answered a bunch of questions, and they played a few rounds to give us a feel for how it plays. Good stuff!
