YV-666 questions!

By isdblues, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Hi all,

Quick couple of questions, I've been informed that the YV-666 can't use outmanoeuvre for its standard attack as the arc doesn't match between the ship & talent, even if you're firing from within the front 90 degree arc.

If I've equipped some form of missiles, like cluster missiles, which is a front 90 degree arc weapon, can this be used in conjunction with outmanoeuvre or not?

Also, specifically to Moralo Eval - if this is the last of my ships on the table, and I fly off the edge to go into reserves, do I automatically lose the game/ship or am I able to return to the table on the next turn (assuming I have enough charges obviously)?

Thanks in advance!

1: Correct, Outmanoeuvre requires a V arc primary weapon, which the YV does not have.

2: Outmanoeuvre requires a V arc *primary* weapon, which Cluster Missiles are not. works fine with V arc special weapons including Cluster Missiles.

3: The Reserves section confirms that ships in Reserve are still considered to be in play, so you don't lose.

Outmaneuver doesn't say "Primary", just shows the 'V' symbol, which means "front arc".

Valid, cheerfully retracted.

OM works fine with Cluster Missiles and other V arc weapons.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply!
