Squadrons:
= 0 Points

Total Points: 392

I have been summoned!

I also thought about what I would for a clonisher wave 7 and this is what I have been useing:

Clonisher Wave 7 addition
Author: Clontroper5

Faction: Galactic Empire
Points: 385/400

Commander: Admiral Screed

Assault Objective: Custom Objective
Defense Objective: Custom Objective
Navigation Objective: Custom Objective

[ flagship ] Imperial Star Destroyer Kuat Refit (112 points)
- Admiral Screed ( 26 points)
- Avenger ( 5 points)
- Strategic Adviser ( 4 points)
- Boarding Troopers ( 3 points)
- Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points)
- Leading Shots ( 4 points)
- Assault Proton Torpedoes ( 5 points)
= 166 total ship cost

Gladiator I-Class Star Destroyer (56 points)
- Demolisher ( 10 points)
- Intel Officer ( 7 points)
- Ordnance Experts ( 4 points)
- Engine Techs ( 8 points)
- Expanded Launchers ( 13 points)
= 98 total ship cost

Raider I-Class Corvette (44 points)
- Instigator ( 4 points)
- Ordnance Experts ( 4 points)
- External Racks ( 3 points)
= 55 total ship cost

Gozanti-class Cruisers (23 points)
- Comms Net ( 2 points)
= 25 total ship cost

Gozanti-class Cruisers (23 points)
- Comms Net ( 2 points)
= 25 total ship cost

2 TIE Fighter Squadrons ( 16 points)
= 16 total squadron cost

Basically I traded my 2 expande& launcher raiders in the original list for an ISD with strat Adv, and then screeds lifeboat raider became 2 gozanti's it works pretty well and is fun to play, perhaps it can inspire you on your building of similar lists

Ah! Clon! A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!

Nice custom objectives!

Also, IMHO I prefer two actviations v 1 large with SA because of the fact that you can shoot four times, have twice the commands, and less risk of dying.

I may be a little biased towards MSU and non-meta stuff xD

It’s definitely a trade off. All those benefits exist, but in exchange the large is easier to coordinate, repairs better and doesn’t lose firepower or sacrifice victory points until fully killed.

Very true indeed. I was just thinking about the small's ability to break off after the other got blown up.

If you get a ship into the fight, it will most likely stay in the fight. I would say that more than 50% of my games end in a 400. I think I may be biased to large ships as they are more iconic and deadly. With 6 activations, I think a Large ship is better because you need to have some sort of anchor in your list. It doesn't have to be a large ship, but I find it easier to have a plan when I know where the majority of my points are moving to.

True. I'm a bit more biased to MSU, but I do understand your point.

I too enjoy the MSU listbuilding, especially Imperial. Although the burden of execution is high, when the threat is spread evenly across the entire fleet, such as a few Raiders with OE&Xrax or Vader and one or two GSDs with ET,OE&APT/ACM, it really presents a dilemma for your opponent on what to chase, what to focus on, and what to shoot first. Many times I have 'Demolished' large ships with ol' Screed Demo triple-tap, leaving a look of complete horror on their faces as I steam through the wreckage towards their cowardly 'lifeboat'.

So, Now I really want to run the absolutely Punishing high-bid Screed/Ozzel 3x GSD2 - ET,OE,APT/ACM, Demo/Insidious and 2x Raider2 - Vader, OE,xrax..... Truck yeah
