According to the listing, they bought it at Adepticon from FFG. No huge surprise there, FFG did a similar thing last year with Han and the Commandos I think?

FF, like many manufacturers usually get in small "sample" orders to check the final product before mass release. And if the samples are good then why not sell them to customers at a convention that's coming up? What gets sold early depends on whats at hand when nearing a con. Get used to seeing it, any of the big cons have a chance of getting first release items.

Edited by TealadinLegion releases have been the last Thursday of each month for quite a few months now. The Occupier Tank and X-34 will be the April release, probably 4/25.
FFG sometimes sells products a little early at conventions. Gen Con always gets loads of early releases but other conventions sometimes get a few. In this case, Adepticon is this weekend and FFG is selling the new Heavies for Legion, which release next month. I believe they were also selling the new starter decks for Destiny, which release next week. Usually that means they had a few pallets of product airfreighted over for the convention while the rest of the production run goes through normal distribution (ie - the rest of the run of Occupier Tanks and X-34s is probably sitting on the slow boat from China right now). Early release stuff is generally not legal for organized play.
For what it's worth, FFG had been really inconsistent at updating the Upcoming page lately - lots of stuff has been jumping from In Development or At the Printer status straight to Shipping Now status. Even though that page may not currently suggest that these expansions will be out next month, it is a safe bet that they will be.
They announced a while back that the landspeeder and Occupier would be available in limited quantities at AdeptiCon. Looks like someone picked one up for resale. A local player's brother is supposed to be picking one up this weekend. Not looking forward to rocket drive-bys when I'm still missing my surge to hit pilot, but whatever. The regular release date for non-AdeptiCon attendees will be late in April.

That's not set in stone, but it is the most likely date.
At some point the Spanish FFG site will update with a release date, the NA release date is usually the Thursday before. I find that more reliable than Upcoming page here with the vague categories.
We live streamed the new tank/landspeeder at Adepticon for a short game on Thursday night. (Most of us there were able to pick up copies of them)
