I’ve been thinking about this casual game format for people who have multiple factions but they don’t have 200 points for each faction. They may have the core set and a few miscellaneous ships. Just for fun.

2 player

Any mix of factions

Each faction can not exceed 200 points

Each player can only field up to 300 points of ships

8 ships maximum per player

So you could field a tie swarm, dutch, vader & a Firespray for example.

I was thinking of a few combinations:

Dutch, Vader in the Advanced, a four tie swarm and a Sith Infiltrator might be interesting.

Wedge, Luke and a swarm of 6 VT-19s

Any other combinations that might be good?

I think you should be required to tell a story about your list before you play in an effort to head-canon it.

Also, quickbuild would work for this too.

It will be easier, because you won't be fighting squad builders to make a piecemeal squad.

So instead of furball we came up with this:

2 mats (ala Armada)

2 players

Each player can play one or more factions

300 points max per player

Each faction has a 200 point maximum

It might take all afternoon but...

Vader with a mini swarm with Luke/Dutch/Wedge

Boba with Han & some resistance A wings
